【講者 Speaker】Dr. María Luisa Spicer-Escalante

María Luisa Spicer-Escalante is Professor Emerita of Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition and a recipient of five Fulbright grants. She currently serves as a Fulbright Specialist (2024-2027) and EMI Advisor at National Taipei University of Technology through Fulbright Taiwan. With more than 30 years of experience in teacher education across the United States, Mexico, Australia, China, Brazil, Jordan, and Taiwan, her work focuses on English language teaching, second language acquisition, bilingual education, and faculty development. Dr. Spicer-Escalante has published extensively and has mentored faculty in teaching effectiveness and teaching documentation for over a decade.
