語言中心「亭午風起，有詩東華」系列活動之「有詩的亭午」，本學期規劃了共6場「英詩小講堂Poetry Readings」。由語言中心許瑞珍、周庭加 2 位老師，以及邀請英美系楊植喬老師、自資系吳海音老師，還有來自美國的原民院客座教授包䒟娜（Dana Powell）3 位客席講者，分享及介紹風格特色、主題各異的精彩動人英文詩作。歡迎喜愛詩歌的您，於星期三中午一同相約東華美麗校園，感受詩歌的多元生命力、閱讀文學的美好與豐富！

Lyrical Lunch at Dong Hwa - Spring 2022

The "Lyrical Lunch at Dong Hwa" is a poetry reading and appreciation event every semester at Dong Hwa organized by the Language Center. Since Fall 2013, with Poetry Readings and Featured Talks, the "Lyrical Lunch at Dong Hwa" has created a space for and brought poetry in English to everyone in the Dong Hwa community and beyond.

This semester, come and join two teachers of the Language Center, along with three special guest speakers including Prof. Yang Chih-Chiao (English Literature), Prof. Wu Hai-Yin (Wildlife Ecology), and Prof. Dana Powell (Anthropology) in our Wednesday Noon Poetry Readings. Let’s enjoy the poems by E. E. Cummings, Emily Dickinson, Thomas Hardy, Seamus Heaney, Wisława Szymborska, as well as three contemporary Diné (Navajo) poets and become a part of Dong Hwa's beautiful poetry scene together.
